Menomonee Falls Bathroom
This project started with a cramped and dated bathroom with very little storage space and tilework in need of replacement. By combining it with an adjoining powder room, we were able to expand the footprint and start virtually from scratch.
The new zero-threshold shower makes a statement with contrasting blue herringbone and white subway tile. A glass block window lets in plenty of light, making everything feel even more spacious. Opting for a splash guard instead of a sliding door for the shower also helped keep things more open.
With this renovation came some added amenities and features. In the shower, a digital Kohler valve controls the water flow and temperature, a hand shower adds versatility, and a grab bar keeps things safe.
We made maximum use of the bigger space by installing a larger, two-sink Bertch Cabinetry vanity, building two tall linen closets, and adding two Kohler medicine cabinets with built-in lighting.
Black Delta plumbing fixtures worked well with the blue-and-white color scheme and were offset nicely by the veining of the Cambria quartz countertop. We removed all the old tilework in favor of a fresh coat of white paint on the walls.
