Bathroom Remodeling

Hickorywood Bathroom

We worked together to select white and gray details elsewhere, providing contrast and keeping things airy. We shopped together for the shower tile, choosing white subway tile offset by accent tile in gray tones and contrasting black tile on the floor. Enclosed by frameless glass panels, the shower is now a focal point that makes a handsome statement.

We worked with the original bathroom configuration, but repositioned the location of the tub in order to enlarge the size of the walk-in zero-threshold shower. A gray tile floor replaced the original carpeting and a heated towel rack — also black — was a welcome touch for cold mornings.

Topping a new matte-gray vanity, the countertop has bold black veining that pops against the white shower tile. We worked with the client’s lighting fixtures and vanity mirrors and incorporated a remnant quartz countertop.

With its updated fixtures and modern design, no one will mistake this bathroom as original to the home anymore!
