The top 7 signs your AC system needs repair

Losing your air conditioning on a hot summer day is the worst! But it’s easier than you might think to spot trouble signs and get ahead of them. If your system is showing any of these signs, there’s a very good chance repairs are needed.

1. Weak air flow. Does the cool air blowing from the vents seem weaker than normal?

2. Funny noises. Rattling, wheezing, buzzing or anything unusual could point to loose or worn parts that could give out soon.

3. Leaks or moisture around the unit. Whether it’s a refrigerant leak or a problem with a malfunctioning condensation tube, this can signal a problem. Important: Freon is poisonous, so it’s important to call an HVAC professional to handle it.
