A step-by-step guide to our remodeling process
April 22, 2024
Step 1: Home visit
Everything starts with a home visit to see your existing space and hear about any remodeling ideas you might have. During this phase, it’s helpful to show us ideas of what you want your remodeled bathroom or kitchen to look like. Pinterest boards, photos, pages torn from magazines and even sketches are all great — whatever works for you. Then we’ll ask more in-depth questions:
Do you want a different look or a major overhaul?
How long are you planning to stay in your home?
What is your budget?
Step 2: Proposal and estimate
Using information about your budget, your vision and your existing space, our designers put together a proposed plan and a written estimate.
Step 3: Selecting fixtures and more
Once the plan is finalized, the fun part begins — picking out the tiles, fixtures, and other materials that will fill out your dream bathroom or kitchen. We’ll take you through our showroom so you can see what colors, textures, and patterns you prefer. For even more options, we can refer you to our wholesalers. We do all the legwork when it comes to ordering and purchasing materials.
Step 4: Construction
With a great design in place, it’s time to get to work. At this stage, it’s important to handle the details skillfully to ensure everything will work properly once installed. When you work with Martens Plumbing & Heating, you can be confident that the construction phase will be handled correctly from beginning to end — whether we’re there to put in a new sink or install the latest in-floor radiant heating.
With master plumbers as well as heating and cooling experts on hand, we can move pipes, vents, and anything else that needs attention. We know exactly how to remodel a kitchen or bathroom to make the most of your space and your budget.
We will handle permits, installation, and making sure the project passes inspection.
Step 5: Enjoy your brand new bathroom or kitchen!
What sets our amazing team apart from the pack? Our ability to truly do it all. When we complete your remodeling project, you can rest assured the work will be done with top-notch craftsmanship, from the details you can see to the details you can’t see — but that are every bit as important.
